BYJ, discharged in 6 days with cast on a knee,
a knee in cast getting out of risk of surgery

On 8, Yonsama BYJ was confirmed to have discharged from a hospital he was admitted to.

Having passionately acted as he took the title role in fantasy epic history drama MBC TWSSG, BYJ suffered from total of 4 big and little injuries during filming of the drama. Including an accident of falling off a horse, he damaged a ligament in index finger of right hand as he was hit by a sword whirled by an opposite actor while filming a battle scene. Also, as a stuntman fell on his neck while filming an wire action scene up in air, he was diagnosed having 'Cervical spinal disc rupture'. To make matter worse, he sprained a leg while filming a scene of landing after jumping into air at the time of the last filming, ending up depending on crutches.

Because of them, BYJ has been receiving detailed examinations and treatments after admission to a general hospital in downtown Seoul on past December 2, when he crank up the drama, but he was discharged from the hospital on 8th in 6 days.

A staff at the BOF, BYJ's agency told on a telephone conversation with the Newsen on 9 that "Mr Bae Yongjoon was discharged on 8 after fininshing detailed examinations. At present, he had a cast on a knee and plans to received outpatient treatment from now on."

This staff told, "As a result of the detailed examinations, he got diagnosis that it was appropriate to treat injured parts with physical therapy for now. However, in case that recovery is difficult with physical therapy alone, he could undergo a surgery."

As BYJ was discharged from the hospital, possibility for him to attend MBC Acting Grand Award became higher. With the success of the TWSSG, BYJ has been counted as a powerful candidate for the MBC Grand Acting Award to be held on December 30. A staff at BYJ's agency added a weight on possibility for BYJ's attendance by saying that "Although we have to watch his health status a little longer, he plans to attend as much as possible."
